PUBLIC POLICIES OF COHESION AND CONVERGENCE IN THE EUROPEAN SCENARIO

XXXVIII CICLO – A.A. 2022/2023

 

Organizzazione del Corso

Nel corso dei tre anni ogni dottorando dovrà acquisire 180 crediti (60 per anno).
I crediti saranno di due tipi:

a) crediti relativi all’attività di ricerca (50 crediti per anno accademico).

b) crediti relativi all’attività didattica (10 crediti per anno accademico).

 

Attività di Ricerca

Sviluppo di una ricerca originale su una delle tematiche previste dallo specifico corso di dottorato, sotto la guida di un tutor.

I tutor sono assegnati dal Collegio dei Docenti sentito lo studente.

Un credito formativo corrisponde a 25 ore di lavoro (attività di ricerca, ricerca bibliografica, studio connesso all’attività di ricerca, stesura di articoli o relazioni, stesura della tesi, partecipazione a congressi, etc.)

 

Attività didattica

Si divide nelle seguenti tipologie:

  • Corsi di 4-6 ore tenuti da esperti italiani o stranieri di particolare rilevanza. Ogni corso di questo tipo comporta 1 credito.
  • Insegnamenti specifici attivati dal Dottorato (o mutuati da CdS magistrali) per un totale di 6 CFU per ogni anno accademico. Ogni insegnamento prevede una verifica finale. Questi crediti verranno acquisiti di norma nei primi due anni.
  • Partecipazione a seminari, corrispondenti a 2 crediti. Per acquisire tali crediti sarà sufficiente la frequenza certificata ai seminari.

 

Attività didattica da erogare da parte dei dottorandi

I dottorandi sono tenuti a preparare ed erogare seminari tematici fino ad un massimo di 60 ore in base alle decisioni del Collegio di Dottorato.

Attività di studio e ricerca all’estero

Attività di studio e ricerca all’ estero presso altre Scuole di Dottorato, su proposta del Collegio o del dottorando purché corredate da apposite certificazioni rilasciate dall’istituzione accademica presso la quale è stata svolta.

 

 

Organization of the Doctoral Program

Over the three years each PhD student acquire 180 credits (60 per year).

Credits will be of two types:

 

a) credits related to research (50 credits per academic year).

b) credits related to teaching activities (10 credits per academic year).

Research activity

Development of an original research project on one of the topics included in the specific PhD course, under the guidance of a tutor.

The tutors are assigned by the PhD Board on the basis of  the student’s research interests.

A credit corresponds to 25 working hours (research activity, bibliographic research, study related to research activity, writing articles or reports, writing the thesis, attending conferences, etc.)

Coursework

It is divided into the following types:

 

  • 4-6 hours’ courses held by Italian or foreign experts of particular relevance. Each course of this type carries 1 credit.
  • Specific courses activated by the Doctorate (or borrowed from master’s degrees) for a total of 6 credits for each academic year. Each course includes a final exam. These credits will normally be acquired in the first two years.
  • Participation in seminars, corresponding to 2 credits. To acquire these credits, certified attendance at seminars will suffice.

Didactic activity to be provided by PhD students

PhD students are required to prepare and deliver thematic seminars up to a maximum of 60 hours based on the decisions of the PhD Board

Study and research activities abroad

Study and research activities abroad at other Doctoral Schools, upon proposal either from the PhD Board or from the doctoral student provided that the activities are certified by the academic institution where it was carried out.
